Summer Party Games and Activities
Whether the weather outside is good or bad on the day of your party, you can still have tons of fun at your summer time party. Here is quick list of games that can be fun at any summer time party.
Egg and Spoon Relay
This is a fairly traditional game but it can be extra fun on a beautiful day. The best thing about this game is you only need eggs and spoons, so you don't need a lot of supplies to play the game. You can find spoons of all colors amongst our selection of Colored Tableware in the Green Warehouse, or if you are hosting a really big party, you can use bulk colored tableware that is available in the Red, Platinum, and Gold Warehouses. Depending on how many guests you have at the party, the guests can be lined up by pairs or teams of however many individuals you choose to place in a team. By this we mean you can have six teams of two people per team, or you can have two teams of six people per team. Whichever way you choose to play, you will need to use one egg and two spoons per team. At the starting signal the first individual will have to start trying to cross an area that has been designated for the relay, and make it to a location at which point the individual turns and comes back to the partner or team member. When the teammate returns to the starting point, the player must transfer the egg from his or her spoon to the next teammate's spoon without dropping the egg and without using hands, other than the one that is holding the spoon. Any time the egg is dropped, the individual who dropped the egg must start from the beginning of the relay path (even if he or she has already started on the way back). The team that rotates through all its' members first wins the game. This game will get everyone moving and add some fun competition to the party without breaking the budget.
Water Balloons
Water balloon games are always fun when planning outdoor activities on a hot summer day. Three Legged Race
