The party table is one of the most pivotal elements of any party, not only because it is visited by nearly every guest, but because it has the ability to complete the tone of any room and become the center of attention. Here are a few tips to make sure your table looks great for your New Year party this year.
Covering The Table
- Depending on your budget and the tone you want to set for your New Year party, you can choose a New Year discount party tablecover that comes with a serious or silly pattern, or you can choose on of our many solid color tablecovers to accent the party theme rather than to be part of it.
- After the tablecover is in place, sprinkle
New Year confetti or regular colored and shaped confetti over the area. - When you are finished spreading the confetti, cover the layer of confetti with a clear plastic tablecover. Doing this will keep your clean up time to a minimum and allow your guests to function around the table without having to continuously pick confetti off of themselves.
Centerpieces For Your New Year Party
It is always acceptable to use a pre-made centerpiece by itself, but it can be very nice to make a unique centerpiece that can be practical and stylish. Here is an idea that we got from a customer a couple weeks ago for a neat New Year party centerpiece.
- Tie some appropriately colored and styled New Year latex balloons along with one or two New Year mylar balloons
to a balloon weight, a unique photo holder, or generic centerpiece in the middle of a 160 OZ bowl. This centerpiece will be functional as wrapped food or tableware can be put in the bowl while the balloons fill the room and add to the table style. - To complete the above suggestion, add a 16 IN tray under the bowl. The addition of the tray will make the whole centerpiece look more unique and complete. The tray will add additional functionality to hold food, serving utensils, or other miscellaneous treats.
