Guests love food. This is a simple and very true statement. For this reason, your table is a pivitol area when decorating for your party. The party patterns that we offer include all of the standard tableware you need to make your table look good, but you still need to use colored tableware for the cutlery, and you need to finish off the table with the other details that make a party table a party table: confetti, centerpieces and so on.
Below we have listed some fun tips for how to make your African themed table look good with a very minimal effort. Some of these ideas have been submitted from customers, and we thank them greatly for their contribution.
Covering the Table
- Place an appropriately colored tablecover, or the Safari Chic plastic tablecover on the table just the way you want it to look.
- Once the tablecover is on, spread
appropriately colored confetti on the table. The shape of the confetti does not really matter, but it may look better to use dots rather than stars when decorating.. - After the Confetti is spread, cover the table using a clear plastic tablecover to ensure easy cleaning after a long Safari or African adventure.
Centerpieces
For the fanciest and most practical centerpiece, use a black or clear 160 OZ. bowl filled with goodies at the center 
of the table. To add a little more character to the centerpiece, add a 16 IN. serving tray underneath the bowl. You can go without the tray but it will make the centerpiece look more complete. Balloons can be incorporated by using curling ribbon to tie balloons to a balloon weight that can be surrounded by goodies after being placed in the center of the bowl.
